Welcome to the Delaware Cost Study Web Portal Submission Process
2017 Delaware Cost Study
Last year, for the 2016 cycle of the Cost Study, we introduced a new way to submit data, get your institutional report in an Excel download format and provided a 3 year averages of five cost metrics by Carnegie Classification for each CIP submitted. Over the course of the next cycle of the study, you will be able to access certain data points in colorful graphics, we will introduce you to our new peer analysis format, and have your data, institutional report and National Norms all in one spot.
If you are new to the study or need a refresher course on how to submit data in the web portal, click here to view a brief instructional Power Point Presentation. If you would like a more detailed explanation or need further clarification, open and view the PDF The How to Submit Data .
We no longer accept the Excel Template, and Excel Flat File or an ASCII file with your data. All institutions are responsible for populating the web portal in order to submit their data. You will have the option of inputting the data on a program by program basis or uploading your data from an Excel flat file. The template for populating a flat file can be found on the How to Submit Data tab or by clicking on the Web Portal Template We have developed a chart of data that list the required information needed for submission to the Delaware Cost Study. We can provide a ‘scratch – worksheet’ version of the Excel Template used prior to 2016 as an extra tool, if you have used that format in the past. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a copy of this worksheet.
As we develop the web portal, we will continue to add new features, and ask for your feedback and ideas on additional data points. This is in an effort to make the Delaware Cost Study (The National Study of Instructional Cost and Productivity) valuable to all participating institutions.
