Randy Oswald – Director, Data Engineering
Randy Oswald joined IRE in 2018 as Senior Data Architect after working for the University for a number of years most recently in Development and Alumni Relations. Randy has a passion for using the power of data and technology to allow people to make better decisions. He has always enjoyed building and creating things, most notably (or successfully) in relation computers and technology, but occasionally (and less successfully) in woodworking and photography. When he's not at the computer, Randy enjoys adventuring with his wife and three kids, cycling, and racquetball. Randy received his undergrad in Chemical Engineering and masters in Information Systems and Technology Management, both from the University of Delaware.
Judy Abbruzzesi – Assistant Director, Data Engineering
Judy is a Double Del alumna of the Lerner College of Business and Economics and a proud parent of one alumnus, one current and one future Blue Hen. She joined UD in May 2013 as Fund Account Coordinator in Development and Alumni Relations, Gifts and Records Processing and transitioned to Associate Director of Annual Giving, Data & Analytics in August 2015. Judy joined IRE as Business Intelligence Analyst in July 2019 A career-long Excel geek, she developed a passion for Tableau and data visualization during her time at UD. In this new role, she will work in close collaboration with the Institutional Research and Effectiveness team, analysts and senior leaders across campus to help to understand and fulfill analytic needs using Tableau and the Central Analytic Platform. When she is not focused on bringing #datatothepeople, you can find her outside. Her other passions include vegetable and pollinator-friendly gardening, farmers markets, fishing, kayaking and hiking.
