Post-Graduation(Career) Plan 2004

Previous Reports:

Summary Report of the 2004 Career Plans Survey

Every year, the Office of Institutional Research and Planning, with the assistance of the MBNA Career Services Center, surveys University degree recipients to ascertain students’ post-UD employment and educational plans. This report summarizes the career and educational plans of students who completed their degree requirements at the University of Delaware between Fall 2003 and Summer 2004 (03F, 04W, 04S, and 04J). Surveys were distributed at the bookstore during cap and gown pickup. A follow-up mailing was conducted in August for all students who did not return the original questionnaire or indicated they were still seeking employment.

For the 2004 cohort, our overall response rate for undergraduate degree recipients was approximately 37 percent; for graduate degree recipients it was approximately 28 percent. The data available in this report reflect the structure of the six undergraduate colleges and one graduate college in place during the 2003-04 academic year.
