Post-Graduation(Career) Plan 1998

Previous Reports:

Summary Report of the 1998 Career Plans Survey Every year, the Office of Institutional Research and Planning, with the assistance of the Career Services Center, surveys undergraduate and graduate degree recipients to ascertain students’ post-UD employment and educational plans. This report summarizes the career and educational plans of students who completed their degree requirements at the University of Delaware between Fall 1997 and Summer 1998 (97F, 98W, 98S, and 98J). Surveys were mailed to all undergraduate and graduate degree recipients in October, 1998, and a follow-up mailing was conducted approximately six weeks later for students who did not return the original questionnaire.   For the 1998 cohort, our overall response rate for undergraduate degree recipients was approximately 44 percent; for graduate degree recipients it was approximately 31 percent. The data available in this report reflect the structure of the six undergraduate colleges and the one graduate college in place during the 1997-98 academic year.
